Above is the cover, and reverse page, of a brochure for the original Fullerton Design Fire Coupler™.   As you can see, on the reverse page (by double clicking on that image), that the Fire coupler "eliminates the cross threading of threads", "works even if the threads are damaged", and "eliminates the necessity of the "Higby cut" when implementing the coupler" to a fire hydrant or other fire fighting fixture.  With the new Gen II version of the Quick-on threading system, this design has become that much more efficient under use.  Gen II (Generation two) is so revolutionary to the old patents, it was awarded its own "stand-alone status".  In the patent process, to qualify for a "Stand-alone" status there had to be at least 7 (seven) separate and distinct improvements comparable to a similar design.  Gen II is such a design and improvement, by the same original inventor; Robert Fullerton.  This design is not limited to only one market or application.  On the left is a conceptual illustration that went to the patent office and is the new Fire Coupler design called "quick-on Fire couplers".
